Fear of the dark
Fear of the unknown
Nocturnal animals
Friendship
Teaching Topics:
Being yourself
Standing up for friends
Dealing with a bully
Diversity
Teaching Topics:
Power of love
Overcoming loneliness
Making new friends
Reaching out to others

Curriculum Fulfillment

Each book and song deal with real life lessons that children can relate to and can be used to fulfill or supplement educational program requirements that deal with the following:

Reading
Comprehension
Language, Arts
and Music
Nature and Animals
Character Education

Independent Learning

The songbooks and CDs make reading and learning fun and engaging for all children. Each CD comes with two read-along tracks so that children can follow along easily and join the author as she reads each book to them. Once familiar with the songs and books, the third track omits selected key words allowing the children to practice their decoding/fluency skills. (They'll be having so much fun, however, they may not even notice). Of course, the more they play the songs, the more fluent and expressive they become.
