About the Book & Song Series
Lisa Coleman's 'Once There Was A...' Childrens Songbook Series are all based on Real Animals and Events that Lisa has experienced in her life.
Each picture book/cd set provides children with the opportunity to independently read and sing-along with Lisa, while learning some of life's most important lessons. Teenage artist, Cristina Cutino, a former student of Lisa's, has provided beautiful illustrations for each story.

Each soft cover book includes a CD with multiple tracks:
- The original song to sing along with
- A ‘live’, animated reading of the book, with a turning cue (allows child to flip through the pages and follow along with the author)
- An additional track with some words left out (so children can practice their reading, rhyming, and fluency skills)
